Welcome.

For over twenty years, TASUMA has been a supplier of major units and components for several drone manufacturers and government establishments, including both surveillance and target drones, as well as support equipment such as launchers and remote surveillance packages.

TASUMA's key feature in the aerospace market was our unique decision to incorporate epoxy composites (including Carbon and Kevlar), together with woven rovings glass (chop strand mat is more commonly used). Both materials are heat and pressure bonded for the fuselage and wings. These features combine to produce not only a significantly lower weight aircraft, but also a much more robust item.

As well as drone manufacture, TASUMA operates in the field of composite reinforced plastics, and produces structures for a wide variety of customers in fields as wide ranging as diving and security.

Over the years we have produced many products other than aircraft, most of which have been in the Composite Engineering sector of the market. These products incorporate the latest advanced materials and construction techniques, utilising carbon, kevlar, spectra and similar materials with vacuum and pressure bagging and matched-die tooling with our heat curing facilities. The company does not have an autoclave, but we are now using a modern derivative of the pre-preg materials, which is a new product from SP Systems called 'SPRINT'.

In addition to production, TASUMA are prepared to enter into an agreement for technology transfer. This can either take the form of assembly of parts shipped from the UK, or direct procurement of parts, including engines and RF control system, which TASUMA can source and specify. Finally, TASUMA are pleased to offer to provide training in our methods of fuselage and wing manufacture to a recommended company.
