| A target manufactured for Shorts, Belfast, in long running contracts. Very robust and utilitarian, with a rugged appearance which belies it's performance. The ultimate speed is higher than that of the 'Banshee' drone, when using the same motor. The drone is of modular construction, each unit interchangable between aircraft for ease. In the event of command link failure, the parachute will automatically deploy. Lauched by a self-contained, pneumatically-operated launcher and controlled in flight by radio command, it can be supplied with equipment to meet the requirements imposed by various operating levels, from weapon support trials up to a full target service. Comprehensive training on both flying of Skeet and the technical aspects of supporting the system is also available. |  |
